Roadmap to Reopen Redeemer Church
On May 1, Governor Halcomb issued an executive order stating, “On or after May 8, 2020, religious services, including wedding ceremonies and funeral services, may continue and will no longer be subject to limits on social gatherings” (Executive Order 20-26, p. 8, ¶ 14.b). As such, we are excited to resume worship services at Redeemer Church! While we are excited, we also proceed with caution, deliberating each step as a staff and seeking council from health officials, government leaders, and other congregations.

Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm
Worship Services:
In-person Sunday morning worship services have resumed. This includes 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. traditional services at Redeemer Evansville and 11:30 a.m. blended service at Redeemer Newburgh. In-person Monday services with praise band have resumed at 6:30 p.m.
Communion:
The Lord’s Supper will be using a continuous flow format that limits physical contact. High risk individuals who are not participating in Sunday morning worship may contact the office to schedule private Communion at Redeemer Church in smaller groups.
Livestreaming:
Online livestreaming will continue on Sunday morning for the 8:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. services for any who still have reservations concerning in-person services. During the past month we have upgraded our livestream capabilities at Redeemer Evansville, and we are in the process of upgrading our livestream capabilities at Redeemer Newburgh.
Other Activities: All other activities beyond worship services (i.e. Bible classes, children/youth ministry, choir, praise band, nursery, preschool, etc.) are not resuming at this point and will continue to use livestreaming as applicable.

Social Distancing:
Redeemer Church is implementing appropriate measures to sanitize and to create physical distancing by spacing out seating. Participants are strongly encouraged to follow appropriate measures such as:
1. Maintain at least six feet from other individuals
2. Wash hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds as frequently as possible
3. Use hand sanitizer
4. Cover coughs and sneezes using a sleeve or elbow, not hands
5. No shaking hands
6. Masks are encouraged but not required.

High risk and vulnerable individuals (65 and above and those who are sick or have underlying medical issues) are encouraged (but not required) to stay home and use livestreaming. Follow your best judgment and comfort level. We care about your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being and will support you whether you attend worship online or in-person
